Volunteering: Snack BarUCALL is very pleased to offer a snack bar which is very popular with our parents, players and spectators. The snack bar offers a menu very appropriate for a baseball field including hot dogs, nachos, snacks, candy and beverages. The snack bar is supervised by the Snack Bar Coordinator who is also a member of the UCALL Board. As a volunteer, you will assist the Coordinator and a few other people in the snackbar. Volunteer tasks include:
These tasks will be explained to you when you volunteer and there is no prior knowledge needed. Snack bar hours vary during the season and its typically open most evenings on the weekdays and on Saturdays, so there are several different shifts available. Being in the snackbar is a great way to meet a lot of folks in a fun environment. If you are a high school student, we can offer you community service credits for your help. The snack bar is located at Veterans Memorial Park (formerly Hall Ranch Park) at the corner of Dyer and Regents in Union City. If you are interested, please email us at volunteer@ucall.org |
